Cada vez existen mas formas de optimizar firefox para sacarle mas provecho, el cual consiste en modificar su configuración de about:config

Para acceder a esta seccion ocupamos en una ventana poner como dirreción about:config , Ponerle que tendremos cuidado. Ahora depediendo de nuestra PC deberemos hacer unas configuraciones, en caso que quieras evitarte esto, puede usar el complemento para Greasemonkey que hace uno de estos cambios automaticamente Firefox Speed Up Script.

Las busquedas es mas rapido solo copiando lo que esta entre parentesis y usar el filtro.
